What is lung cancer?
It is one of the most common cancers. It has a number of causes, one of the primary ones being smoking tobacco. Malignant cells may attack one type of cells or the whole lung. There are two kinds of lung cancer, small cell lung carcinoma and non-small cell carcinoma. The small cell carcinoma spreads faster to other parts of the body. Its typical symptoms are difficulty in breathing, coughing and excessive sudden weight loss. Its prognosis is usually not very favorable.
