Average age of the participants was 62 and all of them had kidney tumors. This study showed that those with a 30 BMI or greater than that were 48% more prone to manifest clear-cell renal cell cancer (RCC). If there was increase in 1 point of BMI, then obese people were at risk of developing kidney cancer by nearly 4%.
