In the light of so many new tools and studies that support weight loss, an innovative finding suggests that lip gloss can speed weight loss. This craze of wearing lip gloss to keep the weight off the hips has taken the market by storm. This special “weight loss lip gloss“ is a discovery of the makers of a common drink called the “Fuze” who merged with another company called “Too Faced” to develop the appetite suppressing lip gloss which can curb your hunger and is flaunted by the caption — Always On The Lips, Never On The Hips. Does it work?
Is it true?
This is what concerns most women. The makers of this innovative weight loss makeup accessory tested the lip gloss on a volunteer Brittany Atwood, a Big Brothers/Big Sisters Intern and Paige Lawler, a 2NEWS Today Intern and Courtney Lasater, an Interior Designer. The “Fuze” tube of lip gloss was administered for 3 weeks to the volunteers.
One week later, Brittany reported that the lip gloss works but how she wasn’t able to tell for sure. She believed that it helped in curbing hunger for longer hours. The makers thereby opine that it is the ingredients — Super Citrimax, L-Carnitine and Chromium contained in the lip gloss which helps in boosting the metabolism and hence the energy.
Dietitians like Jennifer Parham says that the ingredients are quiet safe but do not contribute to weight loss. She further adds that its all in the mind really that makes one believe that wearing the lip gloss can make one lose weight. There is nothing bad about assuming the same she says but is doubtful whether the lip gloss had any thing to do with long-term weight loss.
Parham’s deductions seemed to be quiet true as the volunteers did not experience any hunger pacification thereby wronging the theory of the lip gloss being an effective appetite suppressant for losing weight.
If not for anything else, the ladies said that they could give an A-minus or B-plus to the product based on its cosmetic value!
