I believe that this is true. I have always been overweight and have suffered from irregular periods. About 5 years ago I lost 80 pounds and my period became during my weight loss process. 5 years later I gained it all back, and now my reproductive system is all out of whack.
It is true that you can have irregular periods if you are overweight. My doctor told me to lose about 60 pounds and my peroiods would be normal again.
I’m overweight and dont get my periods too often, whenever I diet and lose weight they come back. Being over weight or obese stops them. Have to be healthy to get them back.
