    Off late, foot soaks have become one of the most popular methods of detoxification. Scientifically, a foot soak is not exactly considered as a method that would detoxify. But, there are quite a lot of people who have claimed that foot soaks for detoxification have been quite effective.

    Follow these simple steps to have a wonderful foot soak detox:

    • Purchase a nice foot soak that will charge the water ionically with electrical impulses. These foot soaks can be found at any store or you can even purchase them online.
    • Follow the instructions give on the foot soak. Depending on the type of foot soak, the amount of water to be poured might vary. Different foot soaks would require different kind of usage and care.
    • To make the foot soak therapy more effective, add some additives or herbs that would make it more effective. You can add some additives and herbs like green tea, corn silk, citrus skin, ginger, ground garlic, hot pepper, radish leaves or dried carrot, pine tree or bamboo leaves. However, these have to be used only after boiling them for about 5 minutes.
    • Although foot soak detoxification has not exactly been scientifically proven, a majority of people believe that it works amazingly. According to a few people, depending on the type of impurity being removed, the color of the water changes. For instance, black water is from heavy metal cleansing and liver, green water from the gallbladder cleansing, yellow from urinary tract and brown could be the cleansing of tobacco.
    • One thing to keep in mind is that, even if your foot soak for detoxification does not really work, there a lot of other health benefits that are quite evident. Foot soaks are very helpful for relieving the tension and reducing the pain. And, when the herbs are added to the foot soak, they help in creating a very nice, relaxing and pleasant aroma.

    Foot soak for detoxification does not cost much and it is quite easy to do. You do not Have to cut down on your daily diet nor do some vigorous exercises. If you find the idea appealing, go give it a shot.
