The 5 day Plan: Here is a five-day colon detoxification plan that one can follow on a regular basis. However, just a day before you start your detoxification, make sure that you drink a detox tea or a colon cleansing herb at night.
- Day One: All through the day make sure that you drink plenty of fresh lime juice. It’s important that you stuff yourself only with fruits and vegetables. At the night drink a cup of detox tea or colon cleansing herb.Any thing to do with dairy, meat, grains, sodas, shakes or food of any other kind should not be consumed.
- Day Two: Even on the second day make sure that you drink plenty of lemon juice and a cup of detox tea at night. You can eat vegetable broth but no other solid or fatty food. You can also include fruit juices or any other low-calorie juices.
- Day Three: The third day diet is the same as the second. Drink loads of lemon juice, a cup of detox tea in the night, vegetable broth and not to forget the fruit juices. Anything to do with solid fatty foods, say a big No-No.
- Day Four: This is your last no-more-solid-food day. Simply follow the diet of the first three days. Make sure that you don’t get tempted to have the solid foods.
- Day Five: On day five you get to have three meals. For breakfast treat yourself for a nice juicy fruit. For the lunch, allow yourself to indulge in tasty green salad. And for the dinner, relish on a nice hot cup of cooked brown rice topped with steamed vegetables. All through the day you are not allowed to have any meat and dairy. And of course do not forget to drink the lemon juice and detox tea.
Once you are done with the entire colon detoxification the next day make sure that you continue to have plenty of water. Make sure that you include a lot of whole grains, vegetable and fruits in your diet. Reduce your intake of processed foods. Since the colon is the vital root for almost many chronic diseases.
