Re-Define Your Small Eyes

Eye make-up for small eyes can be a challenging task. Too much or too little amount of eye make-up can make your small eyes insignificant or small. • First and foremost thing you need to do is to prepare your small eyes for the make-up. It is important that you remove under-eye swelling and tiredness before applying make-up. • It is advisable to start your eye make-up with an under-eye concealer. Presence of dark circles makes your eyes look even smaller. As compared to your natural skin tone the shade of your under-eye concealer should be at least one shade lighter. Lighter shade of under-eye concealer gives a good base for eye make-up as well as provides an illusion of large eyes.
• Selection of eye shadow should be done carefully. It is better to select a contrasting eye shadow shade as compared to your eye color. Contrasting eye shadow shade makes your eyes significant and looks larger. Avoid using similar or dark eye shadow shades.
• Before applying the contrasting eye shadow shade first apply lighter shade which will serve as base. Start applying the select eye shadow shade to the crease of your eyes. The lighter base will make your eyes open up as well as it will enhance your eye shadow shade.
• To make your eye look large your eye liner should be thin. Lining the entire eye with uniform thickness of liner will make your eyes look smaller. Hence avoid uniformity of liner thickness. On the outer third of your eye the liner thickness should be more and make sure that it extends a bit your eye corner. Avoid dark and intense liner shade.
• Lastly curl your eye lashes this will make your eyes look larger. Make sure that you apply loose powder before applying second light coat of mascara to your eye lashes. Mascara should be applied only to upper lashes.
• In case of evening party you can even go for light shimmering eye shadow shades. Remember that the light shimmering eye shadow shade should be confided to the inner corner of your eyes.
