- Splashing: Right after waking up in the morning and before going to bed, the first thing one can do is splashing their eyes with lukewarm water. This helps to remove the foreign matter or any debris from the eyes which is causing blurred vision.
- Palming: This is a very popular exercise for eyes, which is basically a technique of eye relaxation. You can do this exercise whenever eyes are feeling tired. Place both of your hands in a cup position on the eyes by resting your fingers on the forehead. Make sure that there is no stress on the eyes and no light passes through the eyes. Then relax your eyes and try to see blackness only and nothing else for 5-10 minutes, thus it can be done in a dark room. This helps to reset your vision more or less when it becomes tires or blurred throughout the day.
- Break-taking: this is another type of eye exercise which is very simple and even very effective. For every 10 minutes throughout your work close up your work for 10 seconds. For example, if working on a computer, take a very short break of 10 seconds by looking at something else which is about 10 feet away. This helps to give a break to your eyes from work and helps you to remember how to focus your attention on things which are far away.
- Eye squeeze: One can follow these eye squeezing technique when the eyes are tired and in particularly dry. Close your eyes, squeeze them and shut for about 5 seconds. Then repeat this procedure for about 5 times and the eyes must have started producing tears to moisturize the eyes.
- Eye circles: Suppose if your eyes feel rigid and tired, then you can follow eye circle exercise to fix them. Look up, slowly rotate the eyes in a clockwise direction and repeat this for seven circles. Later, repeat this process in an anti-clockwise direction. This must loose up the tight extra-ocular eye muscles which are surrounding the eye.
- Eye massage: Using your knuckles or fingers massage the outer ridge of the eye sockets along with the temples. This helps to increase the flow of blood surrounding the eyes, leading to more flow of oxygen to the eyes, which in turn giving a clear vision.
