The allergy of molds usually develop in humid environment. The allergy of mold is spread with the help of spores or the fragments of the fungus. As these spores are very tiny particles so these can be taken inside the nose tract while breathing.
These spores moves inside the nose tract and gets collected at the base of the nasal chamber. Once they settle themselves, they are recognised by the immune system as some foreign particle. So, it launches a massive hunt to eradicate them with the help of its antibodies. These antibodies result in numerous symptoms which are known as allergic symptoms.
Mold Or Cedar Allergy Symptoms:
The mold or cedar can result in the following symptoms:
- Hay Fever: This fever is caused generally due to the allergy of the pollen. The patient suffering from this allergy usually suffers from fever known as hay fever along with other symptoms like coughing, nasal discharge, congestion, itching in the nose, throat and eyes, fatigue, dullness, watery eyes etc.
- Cedar Fever: It caused due to the mountain cedar allergy. The allergy of cedar results in fever which is known as cedar fever along with it there are other symptoms like sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose and itching in the nose or eyes.
- Runny Nose
- Wheezing
- Asthma like symptoms
- Watery Eyes
Different molds have different symptoms for instance the allergy caused by black mold results in bloody nose, nausea, coughing with blood, anemia, wheezing, If any infant or any young kid catches this allergy then it can results in lung infection and rashes on their skin. It is highly dangerous for them it can prove to be fatal for them.
