Bioenergetic Sensitivity and Enzyme Therapy (BioSET) is an energy-based allergy elimination technique developed by Ellen Cutler, who operates BioSET Institute in Larkspur, California. This method is based on principles of Chinese medicine and acupuncture. BioSET also incorporates latest technologies with practices of kinesiology, energy medicine, detoxification, applied immunology, nutrition, chiropractic and enzyme therapy.
In this article we discuss BioSET method in treatment of allergies.
Principle: According to BioSET, allergies and illnesses occur when the flow of energy (or chi) in meridians is interrupted. Dr. Richard Chin supports the principle in his book “Energy Within” and states as follows: “Illness or pain results when the flow of the energy becomes blocked or unbalanced in some way, because this disharmony then upsets the balance of the body’s entire energy system.”
BioSET Method:
Energy testing: The test involves bio-energetic testing of the body. Electromagnetic testing is done with state-of-the-art computerized machine. Sensitivities are checked and meridian evaluation is done by the test.
Allergy Testing: The second technique is muscle testing. It is done to identify blockages in the patient’s electromagnetic energy field while holding a specific allergen. The patient lies down or sits extending one arm horizontally out. In the other hand patient holds an allergen that contain energic vibrations. The practitioner pushes the wrist of the patient’s extended arm while the patient attempts to resist the downward pressure. If the patient is allergic to the hold substance, the indicator muscle will weaken and patient’s arm will drop. This is allergy testing in this method.
Organ detoxification: Organs found weak or blocked with energy are detoxified by draining toxins from specific organ systems.
Enzyme Therapy: Therapy incorporates analysis of digestion, metabolic disorders and nutritional levels of the body. They use plant enzymes to improve digestion and correct dietary deficiencies.
Dr. Cutler’s BioSET uses glass vials to represent allergens, but these are energetic carriers of allergens. These vials are manufactured by homeopathic suppliers. The patient’s acupressure points are stimulated while he holds an allergen vial in his hand. Big plus point of this method is that the patients do not have to undergo a 25 hour elimination period after their treatments.
