- Ajwain — Powder of ajwain and hing (asafoetida) can be taken twice after meals with water.
- Arjun — Pound some bark of Arjun and take ½ to 1teaspoon of the powder 2 times along with milk or water. Boil 1 teaspoon of the powder of Arjun bark in a mixture of 1 cup milk and 1 cup water till it is reduced to half. Take this twice a day.
- Cinnamon — Take powdered cinnamon twice a day. This acts as a heart tonic and also helps to lower elevated cholesterol levels.
- Gourd — take 1 cup juice of freshly ground gourd. Add 7 to 8 leaves each of Tulsi and mint. Take the mixture twice a day.
- Eucalyptus oil — Massaging the chest with eucalyptus oil is recommended.
- Asparagus — A regular intake of 3 to 5 powdered asparagus or 10 to 20 ml asparagus juice is recommended for heart patients. It improves the overall functioning of this vital organ.
- Amla — Pound equal amounts of amla and mishri together. Take 1 to 2 teaspoon of the mixture twice a day along with water.
- Grapes — This fruit has a soothing and calming effect on the heart muscles.
- Ginger — Prepare a decoction by boiling approximately 1 to 2 teaspoon dried ginger. Take it warm, once or twice a day.
- Betel leaves — Pound betel leaves and extract fresh betel juice and take approximately 1 to 2 teaspoon.
- Ripe mangoes — Ripe mangoes provide relief from palpitations and strengthens the heart.
- Lotus seeds — Take 3 to 6 grams of powdered lotus seeds twice a day to soothe and calm the heart.
Characteristic Symptoms of Heart Diseases
- Decreased or no supply of oxygen and nutrient rich blood to the heart muscle by the coronary artery results in the production of heart diseases like myocardial infarction, angina and coronary artery disease.
- Perhaps congenital or acquired diseases of the endocardium, myocardium and pericardium.
