Cholesterol lowering food is very essential for patients who are suffering from heart disease. Cholesterol lowering food items must be those which have low fat and oil content in them. On the other hand cholesterol lowering food items must be energetic enough to provide instant energy. Few points are mentioned below which can be followed in order to avoid cholesterol in food:
- Include much quantity of vegetables, whole grains, legumes, fruits etc in your diet. Rich amount of fiber in food will help in lowering the quantity of cholesterol greatly.

- Exercise is another means by which can help in reducing the cholesterol. So, a regular exercise is essential for fit and healthy body.
- Always drink a lot of water. Excessive intake of water makes the body feel energetic and eat less. Intake of 1-2 liters of water in a day is essential.
- The most important thing to reduce cholesterol is to eat food properly. Every bite you eat must be chewed and digested properly. So, enjoy the food which you eat.
