Ingredient in slimshot: Experts opine that that this vanilla-flavored drink contains a mixture of both palm oil and oat oil. Manufacturers of the product believe that the drink can curb the appetite mechanism thereby causing you to eat less by satisfying or keeping you full for a longer period of time.
Samantha Cassetty, from the Good Housekeeping Institute claims that the slim shots are literally pouring over the counter even if 30 shots cost as much as $40. Cassetty claims that one shot contains 20 calories.
Cassetty explains that a study proved that the slim shots made people eat at least 30 percent less in about 4-8 hours in continuous than otherwise. However, she adds that these short-term studies may not work effectively as long-term benefits of losing weight. Moreover, the study showed that one ate less and not lost weight.
