Ayurvedic remedy for excessive sweating
There are many herbs, medicines and massages in Ayurveda that can help with this condition. Some of these are:
- Vinegar: Soak a piece of cloth with vinegar and keep it under your armpits for about twenty minutes. This will help control sweating as most sweat glands are present under the armpits.
- Wheat grass: You can take a small amount of wheat grass with water every morning on an empty stomach. It takes care of excessive body odor due to sweating.
- Lemon balm, peppermint and fennel seeds: You can make a brew of these three herbs in water and have it before going to bed.
- Sage: You can boil some leaves of this herb in water, strain it and have this brew every evening to take care of this condition.
Along with these, you can take some other steps that will help reduce sweating and keep you more dry and comfortable.
- Wear loose comfortable cotton clothing
- Drink lots of water to avoid dehydration
- Wash yourself at least twice or three times a day
- Change clothes and bed linen often
- Use some mild antiperspirants
If you follow any of these tips regularly along with maintaining good personal hygiene, you will not be troubled by the problem of hyperhidrosis any longer. You can relax and stop being embarrassed because of this whenever you are outdoors with or around people.
