Elements of Ayurveda Dosha: There are three essential body types.They are:
The Vaata Body Type:
- This body type people are thin,fast,creative and strong.
- The organ colon is very powerful in them.Their excretory system is very efficient.
- An Active and Challenging life style is meant for them complementing their energy.
- They should stay away from dry,raw and frozen foods and eat warm and moist food items.
- They are prone to cold and cough easily.
- Regularity should be an important aspect in the activities of their life.
The Pitta Body Type:
- This body type people are string willed and determined.
- The organs stomach and intestine are very powerful.This ensures good digestive system.
- Socializing and life style involving interaction with people on daily basis is meant for them.
- Oily and spicy food,meat,alcohol ans salt are not meant for them.They should consume fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Ulcers,Fever,Urinary problems effect them.
- Yoga,Meditation are beneficial to their health.
The Kapha Body Type:
- This body type people are blessed with strength,stamina and endurance.
- The organ chest is very powerful in them.
- A life style involving change,challenges and excitement are meant for them.However,they are comfortable with routine.
- They should avoid fried and fatty food items,sweets and cold drinks.
- They suffer from fatigue,obesity,diabetes and sinusitis.
In this way,knowledge about the Ayurveda Dosha,help us in identifying with a body type.The food items meant for that particular body type ensures a healthy well being.
