With the competition and stress around it is extremely important that one be up to date with the latest technology. Being up to date requires one to constantly research and watch out for what is happening in the market. And this constant research is done either through the Internet, television or in some cases books. Staring too long at the computer or television screen and books in turn may create lot of eyestrain. In our quest and search of knowledge, we tend to overwork our bodies and most importantly our eyes with no proper sleep, rest and peace. This being the lifestyle causes many to suffer from health and eye problems.
Eyes are the windows to our souls and not taking proper care of them will cause us to be doomed in a world of darkness.
Eye care doesn’t require much time or energy, devoting just a small part of your time for eye exercises will do your eyes a lot of good.
Three small and smart exercises that can be done everyday without much hassle are
1) A very simple exercise, it requires you to join your hands together and rub your palms till they turn warm and then gently press them on your eyes. Make sure that you do not apply much pressure on the eyeballs. Be very gentle, this method surely brings in lot of relief.
2) Roll your eyes clock wise and then anti clockwise. Continue to do this at least 5-6 times a day. You can do this either while standing, sitting or sleeping.
3) Look at the wall in front of you and pretend to write with your eyes. The bigger the alphabets, the better exercise for your eyes. It may seem funny initially but will be really lots of fun when done over a period of time.
It would be advisable for those who wear contact lenses to remove them before doing these exercises, as there is a chance of the contact lenses to get dislodged or fold.
Also, make sure you are doing these exercises in front of someone who knows you are engaging in eye exercises or a person may really be surprised seeing you rolling your eyes up and down.
These are some small precautions that one should take. Follow these exercises regularly and enjoy healthy and non-straining eyesight.
