- Divert the mind whenever you have the urge to smoke. Go for a movie, or take a pleasant walk in the woods, which relaxes you
- Spend more time with non-smokers. If you are in the company of smokers you may be tempted to smoke again. Do not go by your earlier failed attempts. You may win this time
- Feel good about quitting. You must change your attitude. You must not regret quitting smoking
- Ignore or rather bear the side-effects such as insomnia, irritability or sweating
- Let your motivation levels to quit smoking be high. This way you can get over the addiction
Take a decision to quit smoking and work on it. It, perhaps, may appear very difficult to do so in the beginning, but, through determination and will power, it is attainable.
